The Trust Slider — Stake on the People You Believe In

Long-press any message to rate the sender's trust on a 1–100 slider. In DM chats the slider appears once — a one-time trust signal. In community, event, group, and organization chats, ratings are continuous: your latest rating overwrites previous ones as trust evolves. Every first-time rating earns the rater 1,000 DSP. What happens next depends on where the slider lands.

Why Stake? Passive DSP From Being Right Early

When you full-trust someone, every future rater on the same person moves your stake. If you correctly identified a high-trust person before the crowd, you earn DSP every time the community agrees with you. If you backed the wrong person, your stake bleeds out — and eventually your vouch is auto-removed. The slider becomes a prediction market on character.

Every flight booked, product sold, and service hired adds real fiat value to the GDP floor. More activity = higher floor price. The community controls the value.

Host location treasuries fund community loans for members to start, expand or operate a business, as well as education grants for higher education for colleges and universities within their local community. Applicants must have a P.o.C.T score of 91+ before voting opens. A public discussion group chat is created when the application is submitted so community members can discuss before voting. Loan or grant approval requires a 51%+ majority vote from community members (minimum 10-member quorum), with a 10-day voting window at each level. If local treasury funds are insufficient, requests cascade upward — city → state → country → continent → global.

Home location treasuries fund large-scale expansion projects of $1,000,000+ for existing businesses, as well as education grants for higher education for colleges and universities in the home country. When an application is submitted, a public discussion group chat is created for community members to deliberate on the project. A two-vote process ensures rigorous due diligence: first a community vote to approve investigation, then independent consultants verify viability before a final 67% supermajority vote (1,000-member quorum, 100-day window) to disburse funds.

Built-in Safeguards

P.o.C.T 91+ Gate — Business owners must have a Proof of Community Trust score of 91+ before voting opens. Community members vouch up or down using the trust slider.

Consultant Staking — Paid consultants must stake their fee on the project's success. If a project fails, they forfeit their staked fee — eliminating fraud incentive.

Continental Solidarity — Funder and recipient must be on the same continent. Multiple countries can pool funds for a single project, with returns split pro-rata by contribution.

DSP and $DIASPORA transfers are accessible directly from the chat interface. Fiat rails will be selected per bilateral corridor — Flutterwave, M-Pesa, Wise, Stripe, or SEPA depending on sender/receiver region. Provider fees are absorbed by the treasury.

How It Works

Members contribute $100 in $DIASPORA annually, sent directly to the fund treasury on-chain and fully transparent. This is a self-funding mutual aid fund — support requests open once 10,000 members have actually contributed, so there is critical capital to disburse. Decisions are reviewed by elected community leadership, not a corporate entity.
